GENERAL AUDITION NOTICE
Theatre Newfoundland Labrador is hosting general auditions for our 2027 season and beyond!
TNL operates the Gros Morne Theatre Festival in Cow Head, a summer repertoire festival that consists of up to 8 productions running from May to September. Every season we employ an acting company of up to 12 performers who are cast in multiple productions that run throughout the summer. TNL provides shared accommodations in Cow Head for the duration of every contract and covers travel expenses.
In addition to our summer festival we also have fall/winter projects that include new play development workshops, touring, and one-off engagements. Even if you aren’t available for a summer contract, we would still love to hear from you! We’re also happy to host short meetings with directors, designers, and playwrights who want to share their craft with TNL’s artistic leadership. Please indicate this within your submission.

Corner Brook
Dec. 7th, 6pm – 10pm
Dec. 8th, 11am – 3pm
Location: Grenfell Campus Fine Arts Building.
HOW TO SUBMIT:
Artists interested in an audition appointment may submit a headshot and CV to [email protected]. Please use your last name and the city within the subject of your email, for example: Smith, Corner Brook. Please merge your headshot and CV into one file.
Artists who play instruments: please indicate this within your submission.
CAEA and ACTRA members: please indicate this within your submission.
Actors will be asked to share two pieces of their choice, one of which may be a song. No accompaniment will be provided but artists are welcome to accompany themselves acoustically.
