Emma is an award winning Director and Dramaturg. Presently she is Artist in Residence at Concordia University, an Associate Artist with Poverty Cove Theatre, and a Faculty Member of the Banff Arts Centre Playwrights’ Lab. She is the former Artistic and Executive Director of Playwrights’ Workshop Montreal and co-founder of Talisman Theatre. She has been directing premieres of Canadian plays across the country for over 20 years. A graduate of Concordia University’s Theatre Department, and the National Theatre School Directing program. She has been awarded the LMDA Elliott Hayes Award for Outstanding Achievement in Dramaturgy.
