
Born and raised in Goose Bay, Labrador. Graduate of the National Theatre School. Has worked across Canada for over 40 years. Writer of Woman of Labrador: The Elizabeth Goudie Story. Multiple nominee and two-time winner of the NS Merritt Awards (Winnie in Happy Days and Pearl in Downed Hearts). In 2016 she completed her MFA in Theatre Voice Pedagogy from U of A and has taught at Dalhousie, Mount Allison and U of A. Specializing in dialects, she was the coach on Neptune’s Billy Elliot and Netflix’s The Mist. Proud Mom of three, Sherry is so very happy to be back in her home province where it all began.
