Come see community volunteers from across Gros Morne in TNL’s 2nd Annual Christmas Radio Play, an adaptation of the Christmas classic – It’s A Wonderful Life!
Bedford Falls, New York 1940. On Christmas eve George Bailey finds himself on the edge of a bridge, contemplating whether life is worth living. Suddenly, George is visited by a guardian angel who recounts the events that lead up to this night, from meeting the love of his life, to taking over his father’s mortgage business, to protecting the town from the greedy capitalist Mr Potter. George’s guardian angel shows him a world where he doesn’t exist in the hopes that George will learn that he’s a positive force in the universe and how much he is loved by everyone around him.
This radio play adaptation of the Christmas classic will feature over 20 volunteer performers from across the Gros Morne Region! The event will also include Christmas carolers, a silent auction and lots of Christmas cheer!
